  • Why is it important to keep up with regular oil changes for your vehicle?
Regular oil changes are crucial for maintaining the health and longevity of your vehicle's engine. Fresh oil helps lubricate the engine components, reduce friction, and prevent overheating. It also helps remove dirt and debris, ensuring optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
  • How often should I change the oil in my vehicle?
The frequency of oil changes depends on several factors, including the type of oil used, driving habits, and the manufacturer's recommendations. As a general guideline, it's typically recommended to change your oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every 6 months, but it's best to refer to your vehicle's manual for specific guidance.
  • Is an oil leak common in high mileage vehicles?

As vehicles age, these components may degrade, leading to potential oil leaks. Regular maintenance and inspections can help detect and address oil leaks early to prevent further damage.
  • What does it indicate when the check engine light is illuminated in a vehicle?

Check the coolant level, radiator, and hoses for any leaks or issues. If needed, add coolant or water after the engine has cooled. It's advisable to seek professional assistance if the issue persists.
